During ChinaJoy show

A few weeks ago we have reported first information regarding the upcoming NVIDIA graphics cards. During the ChinaJoy event, the Chinese manufacturer Maxsun has unveiled the first picture of an allegedly NVIDIA graphics card.


Interesting changes

During the last weeks there have been several rumours surrounding NVIDIA's next GeForce graphics card launch. At the moment we know that NVIDIA has an event scheduled for later this month. Despite we haven't any confirmation that we will see the GTX 1180 there, there are leaked pictures about the PCB of an upcoming NVIDIA graphics card.


For WoW: Battle for Azeroth and Monster Hunter: World

NVIDIA's released its latest GeForce graphics drivers named 398.82. The new drivers add optimisations for WoW: Battle for Azeroth and Monster Hunter: World. Furthermore NVIDIA has also added updated SLI profiles for titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and World of Warcraft.


Ahead of Gamescom 2018

A few weeks ago, we started hearing whispers that NVIDIA was planning an event for late August, around the same time as Gamescom. This is probably where NVIDIA will launch its next-gen GeForce graphics cards. Now the company has confirmed the event which will be called "GeForce Gaming Celebration".


With GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1060

NVIDIA UK has updated its online store with a range bundle offers. If you are going to buy one of the five GPUs based on GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1060, you will get a free 120GB or 240GB SATA SSD from Kingston.


This appears to be fat-fetched

Not only is the launch of Intel’s next generation CPUs almost around the corner – at least so it feels judging by the speed the rumour mill is spinning again – an alleged benchmark score of what’s supposed to be a NVIDIA GTX 1170 graphics card has appeared.


At Gamescom 2018

During the last days we have heard several rumors about the upcoming NVIDIA graphics cards. Lenovo has confirmed that the new generation of GPUs will be called 11-series and that NVIDIA might unveils the next-gen during Gamescom 2018.


For The Crew 2

NVIDIA's released its latest GeForce graphics drivers named 398.36. The new drivers add optimisations for Ubisoft's upcoming The Crew 2. Furthermore NVIDIA has also added updated SLI profiles for titles such as Dark Souls Remastered, Hand of Fate 2, Need for Speed Payback, and Super Mega Baseball 2.


Manufacturer cost up to $500 USD

Adaptive sync technologies like G-Sync and FreeSync are really important for hardcore gamers. While FreeSync is a cheap solution due to its open-source nature, the G-Sync from NVIDIA is a little more complicated. While the current G-Sync module is quite expensive, we might see even more expensive G-Sync HDR display anytime soon.


To AI researchers

The TITAN V is a graphics card aimed towards machine learning. The card features Tensor Cores and 12GB of HBM2. During the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) conference, NVIDIA's CEO has given away twenty TITAN V "CEO Edition" GPUs to twenty random guests. Compared to a regular TITAN V, the CEO Edition packs 32GB of HBM2 VRAM.


Fix DisplayPort issue too

NVIDIA has issued a firmware update that fixes some issues with DisplayPort 1.3 / 1.4 monitor connectivity and enable the latest features over the same interface. With this fix, you will not see anymore blank screens, system hangs and bootloop with DisplayPort cable plugged in. The update also readies GeForce owners for HDR G-Sync gaming monitors.


The Crew 2 for free

It looks like NVIDIA is going to bundle the latest and greatest AAA games with graphics cards once again. If you are planning to buy a GeForce GTX 1080 or GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards, you may want to wait for this promotion to go live. This promotion is available for both desktop and mobile PCs.


Next August

While NVIDIA keeps to unveil GTX10 graphics cards like the GTX 1050 3GB, enthusiasts are holding their wallet for something really new. The upcoming GTX11 series should be unveiled somewhen during summer time. Apparently the mass production of the upcoming chips haven't started yet.


For State of Decay 2 and The Crew 2 Beta

NVIDIA's released its latest GeForce graphics drivers named 397.93. The new drivers add optimisations for State of Decay 2 and Ubisoft's upcoming The Crew 2 beta. Furthermore NVIDIA has also added support for CUDA 9.2 to their driver stack and has fixed a several bugs.


Same shader cores as the GTX 1050 Ti

NVIDIA has quietly added a 3GB version of the GeForce GTX 1050 to its lineup. Despite this card doesn't belong to the "Ti" series, it features the same number of shader cores as the 1050 Ti. Furthermore it sports higher clock rate than the Ti version. In order to make it a bit slower than the Ti version, NVIDIA has reduced the memory interface to 96-bit.


What we could expect from it?

Our friends over Tomshardware, have written a rather long and interesting article about the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1180 graphics card. This model is expect for next July and they have done a recap about what we could expect to see in this new flagship GPU.


Gaming revenue is solid

NVIDIA's quarterly financial earnings report has come in and the GPU giant is doing very well. The company already saw a record fiscal Q4 2018, and now the company has published numbers for its fiscal Q1 2019. NVIDIA saw record revenue of $3.21 billion, a whopping 66% rise from a year ago.


For Conan Exiles, Pillars of Eternity II and Destiny 2

Last month, NVIDIA's 397.31 Game Ready driver ended up causing a lot of troubles for users with GeForce GTX 1060. The company has resolved the issue almost one week later with a quick hotfix. Moving on from the debacle, NVIDIA has released the 397.64 driver, compatible with Conan Exiles, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire and Destiny 2 Warmind.


At GTC Taiwan

NVIDIA has posted a short teaser about the "Ultimate Gaming Experience". This might mean something, since we are all waiting a new series of graphics cards or it may mean something much less exciting like 4K HDR displays. As we mentioned in a news of yesterday, this monitors will be rather expensive and above $2000 USD.
