NVIDIA's quarterly financial earnings report has come in and the GPU giant is doing very well. The company already saw a record fiscal Q4 2018, and now the company has published numbers for its fiscal Q1 2019. NVIDIA saw record revenue of $3.21 billion, a whopping 66% rise from a year ago.


During the first quarter of the financial year, NVIDIA has generated a total of $3.21 billion in revenue, which is 10% percent more compared to NVIDIA's last quarter. CEO, Jensen Huang stated that NVIDIA's "datacentre business achieved another record and gaming remained strong". The NVIDIA GeForce gaming division brought in $1.72 billion revenues.

Due to this numbers, forecast for next quarter is looking positive. Thanks to AI opportunities, the company expects to generate $3 billion in Q2. Furthermore according to Jensen Huang: "At the heart of our opportunity is the incredible growth of computing demand of AI, just as traditional computing has slowed. The GPU computing approach we have pioneered is ideal for filling this vacuum."

At this time, there isn't still any information about a successor of Pascal in the gaming GPU market, but we hope to read more news during next months.
