NVIDIA might add 11-series in a couple of months

At Gamescom 2018

During the last days we have heard several rumors about the upcoming NVIDIA graphics cards. Lenovo has confirmed that the new generation of GPUs will be called 11-series and that NVIDIA might unveils the next-gen during Gamescom 2018.

In an interview from the E3 by YouTuber Brainbean, Lenovo product manager Rex Stover mentioned the NVIDIA 11-series while showcasing the company's Cube desktop PCs. On three separate occasions, Rex referred to the implemented NVIDIA graphics cards as GTX 11-series. The 11-series branding is no secret to anyone at this point, and we believe that we will at some point see a GTX 1180 instead of the rumored GTX 2080.

According to Videocardz, NVIDIA might announce the upcoming series of graphics cards at Gamecom this August. NVIDIA is currently sending invitations to the press for the upcoming event. At the moment there is no evidence about the launch, however no one would offer free trip to Europe if it isn't so important. This is just speculation and we will know more during upcoming weeks.
