Acer has announced yet another UHD monitor which will currently be available for both consumers and commercial users in North America, the 28-inch B286HK UHD monitor.

MaxmiumPC likes to do things their way and recently, they have questioned the usefulness of the Chromebook in a 7-day trial to check out if it can it be actually used as the only computer.

During IT Partners 2014 show, held in Paris on 4th and 5th of February, Acer showcased a couple of new products including the XC-, TC-, as well as the G3 series.

Acer certainly drew a lot of attention with its recently introduced and affordable Acer Chromebook C720 and now, according to a fresh set of rumors, it appears that it might get an impressive boost in performance and features with touchscreen, 8GB of RAM and Haswell CPU.

Acer has unveiled its new Acer C720 Chromebook that will not only be thinner and lighter than its predecessors but also be based on Intel's Haswell CPU that will bring even more performance and a longer battery life.

During IFA 2013 show in Berlin, Acer showcased the new and updated version of the C710 Chromebook that will now feature the new 22nm 1.5GHz Celeron 1007U CPU.

At its press event in New York, Acer has launched a new Aspire R7 notebook with quite an interesting hinge design that allows the screen to be positioned in four different modes. To be available as of 17th of May, the new Acer Aspire R7 will ship with Star Trek: The Video Game for PC as a part of marketing campaign between Acer and Paramount.

Kabini and Temash chips have been already shipping to OEMs and now we have a first leak in form of the Acer Aspire V5-122P-0643 featuring AMD's Temash A6-1450 quad-core SoC.

Judging by the leaked pictures, Acer appears to be working on a Windows-based 8-inch tablet, the Acer Iconia W3-810.

Acer is apparently preparing a new tablet that will be using a 7.9-inch screen aimed to compete with Apple's iPad Mini.

Acer hat nun zwei neue Displays ins Sortiment aufgenommen, die man mit den IPS-Pendants bestückt hat.
