Temash A6-1450 APU shows up in Acer notebook

Quad-core SoC at 1.0GHz

Kabini and Temash chips have been already shipping to OEMs and now we have a first leak in form of the Acer Aspire V5-122P-0643 featuring AMD's Temash A6-1450 quad-core SoC.
According to early info, the A6-1450 SoC is a quad-core part that works at 1.0GHz base and 1.4GHz Turbo clocks and feature 2MB of L2 cache.. Since we are talking about Temash based SoC, it features Jaguar core architecture that promises impressive performance per Watt improvements over previous Bobcat based Brazos 2.0 APUs. The TDP is set at around 4 to 6 Watt and feature Radeon HD 8280 iGPU clocked at 300/500MHz clocks (idle/load).

It also features AMD's recently introduced NUMA (non-uniform memory access) architecture and is, in the case of Acer Aspire V5-122P-0643 connected to 2GB of DDR3 RAM.

As far as the leaked notebook goes, it features a 11.6-inch HD LED touchscreen, Windows 8 OS, 802.11bgn WiFi and Bluetooth for connectivity, 500GB HDD and 3-cell Li-ion battery.

Although AMD did not release any precise dates, Acer's Aspire V5-122P-0643 can be already pre-ordered from Acer own site.
