Acer has announced that it will expand its touchscreen Chromebook line with a new model, the Acer C720P-2600, which will retain all the specifications but come in Moonstone White color.


The new C720 will still feature the same 11.6-inch 1366x768 LED back-lit display with 10-point multitouch, be based on Intel Celeron 2955U CPU, 2GB of DDR3 memory and 32GB of SSD storage space and offered with 100GB of free Google Drive storage for two years. Unlike the original Acer C720, the sleek design chassis will now be painted in white, giving the device a consistently stylish look from any angle, according to Acer.

Currently ranked as the No. 1 on the Amazon Top Rated list of laptop and Notebook Best Seller lists, the new Moonstone White Acer C720 Chromebook is expected to hit USA retail/e-tail in early January with a price tag of US $299.99 while EMEA region, or Switzerland, Germany, UK, France, Russia, Netherlands, Sweden and Finland will get it at €299.
