By 21.2% compared to 2015

According to the latest report from Jon Peddie Research, gaming hardware is a solid business despite the fact that the PC market has been shrinking for years. In their latest report JPR shows that for the first time ever PC Gaming hardware passed the 30 billion threshold. A look at the the desktop graphics card channel in 2016 reveals that there has been a 20% growth compared to 2015.

Close to the NVIDIA TITAN X Pascal

NVIDIA’s GTX 1080 Ti has been spotted in the Futuremark's 3DMark database, showcasing performance that is similar to the flagship TITAN X Pascal. According to NVIDIA the card should be faster than a reference TITAN X Pascal and 30% faster than the GeForce GTX 1080. The results posted in the 3DMark Orb have been gathered using the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark.

There is no change in terms of temperature

A few days ago the well-known overclocker Der8auer has delidded AMD's latest Ryzen CPU. After having run several benchmarks he concluded that delidding offers no meaningful temperature decreases or overclocking benefits at least when using a traditional CPU coolers.

Singularity Computers

Today we can show you another build from Singularity Computers. In the past we’ve shared several of his beautiful projects and therefore it’s no wonder that their new “Radium” is exceptionally good looking again.

Optimized for AMD Ryzen

G.Skill has announced the Flare X series and the Fortis series memory kits, which have both been designed and tested in combination with AMD’s new Ryzen processors. When a new CPU architecture hits the market memory vendors usually conduct extensive stability test before launching their kits. The G.Skill Flare X series offers very solid performance, while with the Fortis series are more budget-oriented.

Featuring full cover Bitspower waterblock

Looking at the Z270 line-up from ASUS quite a few things have change compared to the past. There is for example the new "Code" and there is even a model specifically targeting extreme overclockers which goes by the name "Apex". During the launch, ASUS unveiled three models and now, a little later, they’re showing the new ROG Maximus IX Extreme.

First triple fan cooler from EVGA

EVGA has now shown their new GTX 1080 Ti graphics card featuring their new FTW3 triple fan cooler, which should offer a significantly better cooling performance, compared to the previous dual-fan coolers. At the moment there aren't many details available about this model but since it belongs to EVGA’s FTW series it is supposed to deliver excellent performance.

iChill X3 and iChill X4 graphics cards

Inno3D has launched two new graphics cards which are based on the new flagship chip from NVIDIA. Right after the announcement of the GTX 1080 Ti, manufacturers like Inno3D have already shown their custom models. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti iChill X3 and the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti iChill X4 are two new high-end model from Inno3D. Both models feature a custom design and a massive heatsink.

The first mini-ITX model

Biostar has been the first manufacturer to show AMD AM4 300-series motherboards. A few months ago, during an event they’ve hold in Taiwan, Biostar has shown a few details about an upcoming mini-ITX model, that is based on AMDs AM4 chipset. Meanwhile, there are finally some pictures on the Racing X370-GTN motherboard.

Cap-Ten

Today we have another build from Cap-Ten (Ronny Moor) for you. In the past we’ve shared several of their builds and as you might know they always look exceptionally good..

World record from der8auer

We have covered der8auer breaking world records in the past and apparently the German overclocker Roman Hartung did it again. This time he has pushed a new AMD new Ryzen 7 1800X CPU to 5.8 GHz using an ASUS CrossHair VI Hero motherboard and liquid nitrogen cooling. This overclock was achieved with a bus speed of 130 MHz and a multiplier of 44.5. Indirectly this confirms that AMD's Ryzen CPUs can be overclocked via the bus frequency as well.

12 year warranty plan

Seasonic is one of the those power supply makers delivering high quality on a constant basis. The current PRIME series features 80Plus Titanium level efficiency, which is possible due to the use of a complex design and high-end components. It looks like Seasonic is very self-confident when it comes to the PRIME series power supplies, which is why they’ve increased the warranty from 10 years to 12 years.

Rebrand of RX 400 series

According to information from Heise.de, AMD is planning to release it's RX 500 series in April. The launch will be split in two parts. In a first wave the the high-end cards will be launched an at a second stage the mid-range cards will make it to market. Overall it’s a bit a pity that it look like all cards, except the Radeon RX 550, are going to be rebrands from the Radeon RX 400 series.

Another punchy custom card

MSI also has a new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti with custom design up its sleeve. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X is most certainly the vendor’s flagship model, featuring a custom PCB and a custom cooler.
