EVGA announces their GTX 1080 Ti FTW3

First triple fan cooler from EVGA

EVGA has now shown their new GTX 1080 Ti graphics card featuring their new FTW3 triple fan cooler, which should offer a significantly better cooling performance, compared to the previous dual-fan coolers. At the moment there aren't many details available about this model but since it belongs to EVGA’s FTW series it is supposed to deliver excellent performance.

Although this is just a picture we can already start talking about what we can spot by just looking at it. The new graphics cards features a triple fan cooler with a dual slot design. The FTW3 heatsink comes with a black and grey finish and LEDs at the top edge. Furthermore there is also a solid backplate which might be made from metal. Although the specifications are not available yet we believe the PCB will be equipped with a custom design. At least the two 8-pin power connectors are indicating that.

As of today there is no date available when this card will hit the shelves of your local retailer. We’d expect this to happen within the upcoming weeks and apart from that we’d also expect that EVGA is going to launch at least one more version of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.
