Product pages are online already

Already with the ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, ASUS re-introduced a graphics card cooler, that requires more than two slots. Before that it’s been quite a long time that we’ve last seen graphics cards coolers from ASUS requiring more than two slots. In fact we’d have to go back in time to when the Radeon 7970 or the GeForce GTX 580 were new.

Adapted server tech to desktop market

Roman “der8auer” Hartung is always good for a surprise. Thanks to new feet

It’s almost refreshing to see a vendor/manufacturer not advertising a product as “made for gamers”, “optimized for gaming”, or “whichever marketing slogan can be made up ending with gaming”. Cherry nicely steps out of line simply mentioning what they’ve actually changed on their MX Board 5.0.

Models from ASUS, ASRock and more

Current rumor has it that Intel is going to launch their Coffee Lake processors somewhen in October. At this point in time Intel will finally bring their first six core twelve thread processors to the mainstream market. What happens in case of massive undersupply

The launch reviews of AMD’s Radeon RX Vega 64 and 56 have shown that at suggested retail prices of $499 US and $399 US, respectively, those cards do feature a decent price/performance level. The only problem so far: the cards don’t sell at these prices - yet. Instead they are massively more expensive.

Improved on all corners

Already the predecessor of this updated Void Pro RGB Wireless headset was a nice peripheral to used at work or at home for gaming but it wasn’t perfect and had it’s little problems. There was for instance the microphone on the now older model, which could have been a bit better, but other than that it’s been a pretty solid headset. Therefore we’re rather curious to find out what it is that Corsair actually reworked.

It’s been a long time

Back in 2005 Microsoft published the last Age of Empires title, which, already back then, was developed by Relic Entertainment. The franchise has always been one of the strategy games out there and it’s great to hear that a proper successor is now under development.

]At Gamescom
