In their latest report JPR shows that for the first time ever PC Gaming hardware passed the 30 billion threshold. A look at the the desktop graphics card channel in 2016 reveals that there has been a 20% growth compared to 2015.
Close to the NVIDIA TITAN X PascalNVIDIA’s GTX 1080 Ti has been spotted in the Futuremark's 3DMark database, showcasing performance that is similar to the flagship TITAN X Pascal. According to NVIDIA the card should be faster than a reference TITAN X Pascal and 30% faster than the GeForce GTX 1080. The results posted in the 3DMark Orb have been gathered using the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark.
There is no change in terms of temperatureA few days ago the well-known overclocker Der8auer has delidded AMD's latest Ryzen CPU. After having run several benchmarks he concluded that delidding offers no meaningful temperature decreases or overclocking benefits at least when using a traditional CPU coolers.

A few months ago, during an event they’ve hold in Taiwan, Biostar has shown a few details about an upcoming mini-ITX model, that is based on AMDs AM4 chipset. World record from der8auerWe have covered der8auer breaking world records in the past and apparently the German overclocker Roman Hartung did it again. This time he has pushed a new AMD new Ryzen 7 1800X CPU to 5.8 GHz using an ASUS CrossHair VI Hero motherboard and liquid nitrogen cooling. This overclock was achieved with a bus speed of 130 MHz and a multiplier of 44.5. Indirectly this confirms that AMD's Ryzen CPUs can be overclocked via the bus frequency as well.
12 year warranty planSeasonic is one of the those power supply makers delivering high quality on a constant basis. The current PRIME series features 80Plus Titanium level efficiency, which is possible due to the use of a complex design and high-end components. Rebrand of RX 400 seriesAccording to information from Heise.de, AMD is planning to release it's RX 500 series in April. The launch will be split in two parts. In a first wave the the high-end cards will be launched an at a second stage the mid-range cards will make it to market. Overall it’s a bit a pity that it look like all cards, except the Radeon RX 550, are going to be rebrands from the Radeon RX 400 series.
Another punchy custom cardMSI also has a new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti with custom design up its sleeve. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X is most certainly the vendor’s flagship model, featuring a custom PCB and a custom cooler.

Just a few hours before the launchA while ago well-known overclocker Der8auer created a tool to delid Skylake (and other) processors. Now, with the new AMD Ryzen chips, he managed to delid also this new processor without using any specific tools. We managed to get a couple of pictures of a delidded AMD 7 1700 CPU that is going to launched today.
Thanks to quicker memory chipsFollowing the launch of the GTX 1080 Ti, NVIDIA has now announced two new enhanced GTX 1080 and GTX 1060 GPU variants. Both cards come with an impressively quick memory. At the moment NVIDIA has not yet announced the availability of these GPUs, or if they will be coming with a different name like the GTX 1080 Boost or GTX 1060 Ti.
