In Rise of the Tomb Raider

It looks like Crystal Dynamics, the studio behind Rise of the Tomb Raider, has been working on an update for the game in order to increase the performance of the game in combination with AMD’s Ryzen processors. At FullHD in combination with a medium and a high preset there is an up to 28% increase in frames per second visible.


Coming in 1100W, 1300W and 1500W flavors

This time Wccftech jumped the gun and they found another leak in the Geekbench database. In order to do some comparison, we have run quick test with our Core i7-5820K at stock clocks.

With the MZ30-AR0 Gigabyte introduced their first single-socket motherboard for AMDs EPYC processors, which will allow for building potent workstations mainly as well as servers with up to 32 cores and 64 threads. In version 5.4

By the end of July Crytek is going to launch their CryEngine with version 5.4. By then it will finally support the Vulkan API. Vulkan support was already expected to be rolled out with version 5.3, however Crytek has preferred implementing other features first and improve on DirectX 12.

EVGA already has a wide portfolio when it comes to graphics cards but that didn’t stop them from launching yet another model. A few days ago, EVGA has introduced their new GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hydro Copper graphics card which comes with a liquid cooling block.

EVGA is the last one amongst the motherboard vendors to announce their X299 motherboards. Like in the past, when a new chipset was launched, EVGA has prepared three new models. This time they have come up with two E-ATX form factor ones, which go by the name X299 Dark and X299 FTW K as well as a mATX X299 Micro.

Already last year, AMD had first shown their upcoming Radeon Instinct compute accelerators as well as the Radeon Open Compute platform (ROCm). AMD has released a list of Ryzen compatible DDR4 memory kits that have been tested at rated speeds with Ryzen CPUs at D.O.C.P. settings. According to AMD, some of these kits will require the the BIOS to be updated so the latest AGESA 1.0.0.6 microcode is in place.
