According to information from the chinese site mydrivers, AMD is planning to release it's RX 500 series in April. This is nothing new, but they’ve also mentioned that the launch will be split in two parts. AMD has investigated the issues of thread scheduling and according to them the Windows 10 thread scheduler is operating properly for Ryzen CPUs. According to the company there aren’t any issues related to the scheduler in the case of both the logical and the physical cores.

According to Guru3D and several other media, AMD Ryzen processors are very fast with multithreaded workloads but not that powerful in games, which are CPU bound. On Twitter Microsoft now confirms the issue that Windows 10 does not detect the SMT threads accordingly, which could account for the performance difference.

Right after the announcements from ASUS, EVGA and MSI, Zotac unveiled three more graphics cards, which go by the names Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme, Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Edition and Zotac GTX 1080 Ti. While the first two models feature a custom design and a custom heatsink, the third might be based on a semi-custom design.

LG has expanded its UHD monitor lineup with a new monitor which features a 43-inch panel 3840 x 2160 resolution. Furthermore the monitor comes with a KVM switch and USB Type-C port. The LG 43UD79-B is not the first 43-inch UHD monitor available in the market, also Phillips and Dell made something similar months ago.
