According to a leaked benchmark result from AnTuTu, it appears that Nvidia is working on a successor of its Android-based handheld gaming console, the Shield.
Judging from the results, which should be taken with a grain of salt, the new Nvidia Shield 2 will be based on Nvidia's Tegra K1 SoC which is clocked at 2.5GHz and packs Kepler GPU with 192 CUDA cores, as well as 4GB of RAM. The device scored quite an incredible 44,500 in the aforementioned benchmark and has listed 1440x810 resolution.
The rest of the rumored specifications include 16GB of internal memory, 0.3-megapixel front camera and, of course, Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.
Nvidia was quite happy with the first-generation handheld Shield console and while most Android-based devices are limited to casual games, Nvidia is pushing hard to connect the Shield to the PC by allowing it to stream games directly from the PC, making it quite an interesting device.
