Samsung Galaxy S5 alleged specs show up

Look promising for now

We have already seen a bunch of rumored specifications for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone and today, we got another fresh set of alleged specifications which does not come as a surprise considering the highly likely announcement coming at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on 24th of February.

According to the new rumors, Samsung's new Galaxy S5 will get a screen size bump to 5.24-inch and it will feature the new Super AMOLED display with QHD 2560x1600 resolution. This will take the pixel density up to 560ppi.

As far as the internal specs are concerned, the Samsung will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 chipset and have a version with its own Exynos 6 chipset. Both versions will be paired up with 3GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of storage space. The rear camera should be at 16-megapixel and the front one will end up with a 3.2-megapixel sensor.

The latest rumor puts a 3,200mAh battery inside the new Galaxy S5.

Although all of these earlier and current rumors do not sound far off, you should still take them with a rather large spoon of salt as we are still too far away from MWC 2014 and the official announcement, so nothing is still certain.
