Xbox One will be improved once a year

Cloud is key

According to a report over at Eurogamer.net, Microsoft is going to improve the Xbox One year after year over the next decade.

During his presentation at Eurogamer Expo 2013, Phil Harrison, executive at Microsoft, annouced that the upcoming Xbox One is going to get updated several times in the next ten years.

One key aspect of that will be the cloud, which goes hand in hand with digital content distribution. The first game, that will be properly integrated already at launch will be Forza 5 with its Drivatar feature.

Being hardware enthusiasts here at ocaholic we also hope that updating means new hardware from time to time. Since the platform would offer such flexibility the last bit of hope hasn't died yet. Especially with Xbox One and PS3 it was just painful to see at which pace the further development on the graphics side decreased.
