The star of the show and the Gaming Evolved program is definitely the new and upcoming EA/DICE Battlefield 4 title and those lucky enough to tune into the last night live stream even had a chance to see the the exclusive "Angry Sea" single player mission that showed some impressive things, including naval combat, that we will have a chance to see once Battlefield 4 finally hits the streets.
DICE was definitely a big part of the GPU 14 conference and Battlefield 4 is certainly a result of that as it will bring certain optimization for AMD GPU architectures, not only in Battlefield 4 which will bring optimization for DirectX 11.1 as well as 64-bit native multi-core executable that should scale well on octa-core CPUs, but also in over 15+ games including Mass Effect, Dragon Age Inquisition, Mirror's Edge, Command and Conquer and much more.
Unfortunately, AMD was not clear if and which of these games will be a part of its future Never Settle bundle but we guess that we will find that out soon enough. Most people, including us, hoped and still hope that Battlefield 4 will be one of those games.
