Building up on the anticipation for the AMD's FM2+' Kaveri APU launch, ASRock has decided to detail its entire socket FM2+ motherboard lineup that will feature quite a few motherboards, including a featured packed mini-ITX FM2A88X-ITX+ that will be quite interesting to HTPC builders.
The list of socket FM2+ motherboards based on the AMD A88X chipset starts with a flagship ASRock FM2A88X Extreme 6+ motherboard that support for PCI-Express x16 gen 3.0, quad-monitor support via DVI, D-Sub, HDMI and DisplayPort output, dual-channel DDR3 2600+MHz DIMM support in four ports, as well as DigiPower 8+2 VRM design. It also packs quite a few features that are a part of ASRock's A-Style lineup, including Purity Sound provided by a Realtek ALC1150 audio chip, two TI NE5532 amplifiers, EMI shielding cover, PCB isolate shielding and DTS Connect, Home Cloud, X-Boost and much more.
In addition to the flagship ASRock's FM2A88X Extreme6+, ASRock will also release a handful of other A88X based motherboards including FM2A88X Extreme4+, FM2A88M Extreme4+, FM2A88 Pro+, FM2A88M-HD+ as well as the most interesting mini-ITX FM2A88X-ITX+ motherboard that, although constrained with size, features Home Cload, HDMI-in, mini-PCIe slot reserved for WiFi, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI outputs, 7.1-channel audio with TINE5532 amplifier chip and is practically the ultimate motherboard for AMD home theater PC, according to ASRock.
The entire lineup should be available pretty soon and will also support AMD's older socket FM2, Richland and Trinity APUs as well as the new Kaveri ones, as soon as they are officially launched.
