Over the past few weeks, we have posted the first benchmarks about the upcoming Ryzen 2000 series based on the Zen+ architecture. Meanwhile, the Spanish site El Chapuzas Informatico has posted some benchmarks of what appears to be the upcoming Ryzen 7 2700X CPU.
El Chapuzas Informatico has posted a CPU-Z screenshot that show a CPU with a base clock speed of 3.70GHz and a maximum clock speed of 4.35GHz. Furthermore CPU-Z reveals a maximum TDP of 105 Watt.
The site has posted few synthetic benchmarks as well like 3DMark Fire Strike, Cinebench R15 and few others. In 3DMark Fire Strike the upcoming AMD Ryzen chip appears to be a solid competitor of Intel Core i7-8700K. While in Cinebench R15, the Ryzen 7 2700 scores 1748 points which is almost 20% faster than a Core i7-8700K CPU. We have a similar behaviour in more or less all the tests.
AMD's refreshed Ryzen lineup should launch next week and we will keep an eye on it.
