Gigabyte also unveils two GTX 1070 graphics cards

The GTX 1070 Windforce OC and G1.Gaming

While its liquid cooled GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming should appeal to those looking for the best high-end graphics card, Gigabyte has also unveiled two new custom GTX 1070 graphics cards, that should appeal to those looking for a cheaper graphics card, the GTX 1070 G1.Gaming and the GTX 1070 Windforce OC.

The Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1.Gaming comes with a custom PCB, Windforce 3X cooler and a hefty factory-overclock. It features Gigabyte's new shroud design with orange accents, which is a key part of Gigabyte's new G1.Gaming lineup as well as an RGB LED Logo that can be adjusted via software.

According to Gigabyte's product specification page, the GTX 1070 G1.Gaming works at 1620MHz base and 1822MHz Boost GPU clocks in OC mode and 1594MHz base and 1784MHz Boost GPU clocks in Gaming mode.

The memory remains at standard 8000MHz for 8GB of GDDR5 memory on a 256-bit memory interface.

The Gigabyte GTX 1070 Windforce OC is a bit different and although both need a single 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors, the GTX 1070 Windforce OC comes with a dual-slot dual-fan Windforce 2X cooler and slightly lower clocks, set at 1582/1771MHz in the OC mode and 1556/1746MHz in Gaming mode.

The cooler is a new Windforce 2X cooler with 90mm fans, unique blade fan design and new composite heatpipes which are in direct contact with the GPU.

Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not reveal any details regarding the price or the actual release date but hopefully we will see them on retail/e-tail shelves soon.
