A couple of pictures showing the XFX Radeon RX 480 on the production line have leaked online alongside the GPU-Z screenshot and showing more details regarding the both the cooler as well as the reference-design card.
The set of pictures posted by Videocardz.com also reveal that XFX could supply all its reference cooled RX 480 graphics cards with a backplate, which should add certain value to it.
The GPU-Z screenshot also confirms that the RX 480 will have 2304 Stream Processors and work at 1328MHz GPU clock, with 8GB of GDDR5 memory working at reference 8000MHz.
Same pictures also revealed a bit more information regarding the reference cooler, which has a single aluminum heatsink with a copper core, while a baseplate cools the memory and the VRM part. This shows that it is not that hard to cool down the 14nm Ellesmere GPU, so it will be quite interesting to see how far will AMD AIB partners push their custom cooled versions.
In case you missed it, Radeon RX 480 is scheduled to officially launch on June 29th.
