German-based liquid cooling specialist, Aqua Computer, has announced its new liquid cooling water blocks for both the new Geforce GTX 1080 and the Geforce GTX 1070 graphics cards, including the backplates.
]Both blocks, named kryographics Pascal, use a jet plate in kryographics block, which is the first time for Aqua Computers and which should further improve the low flow resistance by changing the coolant flow. Made from a 10mm thick copper base, the new kryographics blocks are CNC machined and cools all the components of the graphics card, including memory and VRM part.
Backplate for these two blocks should be available in a couple of weeks and Aqua Computer also plans to introduce an active backplate which will use a heatpipe in order to make direct contact to the cooling fluid and offer increase cooling performance.
Currently only available in the copper versions, priced at €99.90 each, Aqua Computer also promises a nickel-plated version, which will be priced at €114.90. There are also two top versions, with clear and smoked acryl. Passive backplate will be selling for €24.90 while the active version should be priced at €39.90.
