Cherry announces new MX RGB Nature White switches

Sit between MX Black and MX Red switches

Cherry, a well known manufacturer of mechanical keyboard switches, has introduced its newest mechanical linear switch, the MX RGB Nature White, which will sit between earlier available MX Black and MX Red switches due to its precise actuation force of 55 grams.

While some find the MX Black a bit to heavy, due to their 60-cN of actuation force and MX Red too light due to their 45-cN of force, Cherry has unveiled its new MX RGB Nature White switches, with 55-cN of actuation force.

This puts the new Cherry MX Nature White switches in line with earlier available MX Brown switches but feature transparent casing which will provide even more illumination when paired with either single-color or RGB LEDs.

Unfortunately, it appears that Cherry MX Nature White switches will not be available in many keyboards yet as Ducky has secured an exclusive deal with Ducky's Shine-5 as a first product. Currently, Mechanicalkeyboards.com already has the Shine-5 listed for US $165.
