Performance Boost for Windows 10

Quicker boot times

In a press release Microsoft announced, that the first major update on Windows is going to improve the overall performance of their latest operating system.

According to Microsoft, after the update Windows 10 should start-up to 30 percent quicker than Windows 7. Aparently Microsoft must have improved the hardware initialization processes in order to speed up boot times. Apart from that the company claims that everyday tasks will benefit as well.

Next to performance improvements Microsoft was working on refining their voice-assistant Cortana, which is now capable of receiving inputs from a pen as well. In other words you can now write something on your tablet or notebook and Cortana will recognize your command.
