EA and DICE revealed a rather surprising news about the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront game, saying that it won't have a server browser but rather be based on a new matchmaking system.
According to
a post over at Reddit, left by EA's Community Manager, Star Wars Battlefront will not offer a server browser, but will utilize a new skill-based matchmaking system." This means that PC users will not be able to create or join their own maps and gametypes but rather rely on a yet to be details matchmaking system.
EA noted that gamers will be able to join and create a party lobby with their friend but the matchmaking system sounds a lot like something seen on the consoles, something that PC gamers aren't used to and do not like.
Apparently, the matchmaking system will be based on ranks and the news has been also confirmed
at EA's official Star Wars: Battlefront Twitter account.
