Thermalright has unveiled a new version of its Macho HR-02 CPU cooler, which features a new fan and will be simply known as the Rev. B.


The HR-02 Macho Rev. B is not a new product, but rather an update of a CPU cooler that is well known and had a decent success. The new Rev. B of the HR-02 Macho is now paired up with a new PWM fan which is able to rotate less quickly that the previous model.

The cooler measures at 140 x 102 x 162mm and weighs 720g while the fan measures 152 x 140 x 26.5 mm at 160g. The heatsink, which is connected to the copper base via six heatpipes, is cooled by the TY-147 fan, which spins between 300 and 1300rpm and provides between 16,9 and 73,6CFM of airflow while it produces between 16,9 and 21dBA of noise.

The HR-02 is already available in select retail/e-tail shops and from Thermalright distributors with an MSRP of €42.99.
