Palit teases new GTX 980 Super Jetstream graphics card

Custom GM204 Maxwell based GTX 980

Nvidia's AIB partners are definitely happy with the recently launched GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics cards and while custom versions of the GTX 970 were available from day one, partners had to wait a bit before launching their custom GTX 980 graphics cards. Today, Palit has teased its newest custom Geforce GTX 980 Super Jetstream graphics cards.

Based on a fully custom design with an 8-phase VRM, a new dual-fan dual-slot cooler that features 0dB technology and Turbofan Blades, some sort of LED lightning, included backplate, as well as Master Mode and Thunder Master OC Mode that will somehow allow better overclocking.

To be precise, Palit will actually offer two different versions of the custom GTX 980, the standard GTX 980 Jetstream which will work at 1127MHz base GPU clock and 1216MHz GPU Boost clocks while memory will remain at 7000MHz, as well as the aforementioned GTX 980 Super Jetstream model working at 1203MHz base clock and 1304MHz GPU Boost clock with memory overclocked to 7200MHz.

According to the report from Videocardz.com, the new Palit GTX 980 Super Jetstream is already listed for pre-order at Overclockers.co.uk with a price set at £391.66 ex. VAT, which is somewhere around US $625 or €498. The non Super GTX 980 Jetstream is also listed at £374.99 ex. VAT.
