The HTC-made Google Nexus 9 has now been spotted at the FCC, which suggest that the device is all ready for the rumored launch on 8th of October, at HTC's upcoming Double Exposure event in New York.
While it was never officially confirmed by either HTC or Google, the Nexus 9 has been leaked a couple of times, including the leak in the court documents which pretty much confirmed that the device is real. Now, the Nexus 9 has been spotted and approved by the FCC, which suggest that the recently rumored October 8th launch date might be true.
While the FCC filing does not reveal any details regarding the specifications of the Nexus 9, earlier rumors suggest that we will see a device with 8.9-inch QHD resolution screen, Nvidia's Tegra K1 SoC paired up with 2GB of RAM, aluminum chassis and all the other features and specifications which you would expect from such a device.
In any case, we will know for sure on October 8th or soon after it.
