A report coming from one of the investment research firm has revealed some more specifications regarding the upcoming Apple Watch by examining the supply chain for the device.
According to a report coming from investment research firm, Cowen and Company, which have taken a closer look at the Apple Watch supply chain, the device will ship with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, in addition to earlier details Apple S1 SoC.
The RAM will be coming from Samsung, Micron and Hynix while the 4GB of on board flash storage is expected to be supplied by a number of major NAND manufacturers.
Timothy Arcuri, from Cowen and Company group, suggest that there is a possibility for an 8GB version of the Apple Watch, but it is likely that the 4GB will be the standard configuration.
Apple's Watch will be one of the first smartwatches that will feature a SoC specially designed for a smartwatch rather than use one aimed at smartphones. Despite that, and suggested power efficiency with the S1 SoC, Apple's Watch will still need a daily charge.
