Valve has unveiled the new Steam Discovery Update as well as announced that it now has over 100 million active Steam accounts.
Valve has kicked off a new week by
announcing that it now has over 100 million active Steam accounts as well as over 1300 new titles that have been added to the Steam in last nine months.
In addition to the new milestone, Valve has launched the new Steam Discovery Update, a smarter home page that will add "functionality and features designed to optimize Steam shopping experience as the number of new titles on Steam increases," as well as will be "offering recommendations based on past purchases, recent playtime, and recommendations by friends".
In addition to the new Steam Discovery Update, Valve has also included a new feature called Curators, which allows any user to become a Curator and recommend games to people that follow them.
