The AM4 X370-F and B350-F from ASUS are two AMD AM4 motherboards that come with a few interesting features. These two models fill gaps in the ASUS AM4 lineup. So far there are only two X370 motherboards, the Prime X370-Pro and the Crosshair VI Hero.

During the past three months, some owners of Intel Core i7-7700 and 7700K processors have been complaining about unusual temperature increases. According to user accounts, temperatures can sometimes hit 90°C and reach the maximum 100°C threshold. Intel has finally come up with a response to the complaints, though the answer is not really offering any solutions to the users.

MSI has introduced their new GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk EK X graphics card and it comes with a liquid cooling block from EK Water Blocks. Compared to the EK-FC1080 GTX Ti, the water block that you can find on the GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk EK X has been changed and it comes with both MSI and EK logos on the block itself and a custom MSI backplate.

Following the launch of AMD’s ReLive 17.4.3 drivers there is already a new update available. This release offers a 4.7% performance improvement in Prey and a multi-GPU profile for the game. On top of that AMD has also fixed some issues related to Forza Horizon 3 and Civilization VI.

NVIDIA has released yet another updated driver. Meanwhile the version number is 382.05 and it brings performance improvements to No Man’s Sky - with The Foundation Update 1.10, Battlezone and the Gears of War 4. Furthermore this driver makes your NVIDIA based system ready for the latest Prey.

Looking at the Z270 line-up from ASUS quite a few things have change compared to the past. There is for example the new "Code" and there is even a model specifically targeting extreme overclockers which goes by the name "Apex". Today ASUS launches the ROG Maximus IX Extreme, which is their new high-end water cooled model.

AMD stocks have fallen over 20% in 24 hours after the release of the company’s Q1-2017 financial results. The AMD stock value has reached $10.30 plummeting by more than 20%. This is the largest single-day fall in 12-years for AMD. In their Q1 2017 financial results, AMD shows an increase in revenue by 18% and a lower operating loss than during previous quarters. However AMD has also revealed lower than expected margin for Q2.

An update alongside the Linux 4.12 kernel, reveals a lot of new information on the Digital Rendering Manager (DRM) that includes support for upcoming AMD's Vega architecture. Diving a little bit more into the details it was found that Vega will pack 4 shader engines and 16 compute units.

The Prime B350M-E from ASUS is a mid-range motherboard that comes with a few interesting features. Compared to the Prime B350-Plus, which ASUS unveiled a few weeks ago, the new model is a cheaper, sub-80 euro board, that still packs a few goodies. Like the name suggests, this new model is based on a micro-ATX form factor.

A few months ago, during CES 2017, In Win has shown an early prototype of their 301 case. Meanwhile it has been announced to be available quite soon. In general it looks quite similar to its bigger brother, but compared to the 303, the 301 is only compatible with mATX and mini-ITX motherboards.

Microsoft has announced their new Surface laptop via Twitter. The new laptop will get a 13.5" screen with 2256 x 1504 resolution and several different models are going to be available. Apart from that the rest of the specs are pretty interesting as well.

EVGA has officially launched their GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid graphics card. It comes with an all-in-one liquid cooling unit taking care of the GPU and active cooling for the VRMs. Although on paper this card only features a small factory overclock, it’s quite a bit quicker than NVIDIA's Founders Edition.

Looking at the Z270 and H270 line-up from ASUS quite a few things have changed compared to the previous generation and one of those things is the “ROG STRIX” series. There is now a complete lineup of STRIX Gaming motherboards with the ROG STRIX H270I Gaming being the company’s mini-ITX offer, featuring RGB lighting. This motherboard is quite similar to the ROG STRIX Z270I we’ve already reviewed a few months ago.
