EVGA has officially launched their GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid graphics card. It comes with an all-in-one liquid cooling unit taking care of the GPU and active cooling for the VRMs. Although on paper this card only features a small factory overclock, it’s quite a bit quicker than NVIDIA's Founders Edition.


The GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid has been equipped with a 120mm AIO cooler. Usually these “Hybrid” cards are based on a reference PCB but there is no precise information on that yet. While the standard blower takes care of the VRM and memory, the 120mm AIO cooler only cools the GPU itself and an additional fan has to deal with the VRMs and the memory chips.

A quick look at the clock speeds reveals that the factory-overclocked EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid works with 1569MHz/1684MHz Core/Boost clocks, while the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition is set to 1480MHz/1582MHz Core/Boost frequencies. Due to the good cooler and the factory overclock, the GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid will be a really well performing graphics card.

In the case of power connectors there is one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCIe power inlet. Regarding display connectors we find the usual three DisplayPorts 1.4, one HDMI 2.0b connector and one dual-link DVI port.

As of today there is no precise date available when these cards will hit the shelves of your local retailer and there is also no information on pricing. Since the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk X graphics card is available on Geizhals for 916 Euro, we expect a similar price for the EVGA one.
