During the IFA show in Berlin, Philips has unveiled an ultra-wide and extra large display. The 492P8 is wider than any other ultrawide monitor thanks to its 49-inch panel. The monitor is based on a rather unusual 5120 x 1440 resolution and a 1800R curvature.



Based on a high-contrast IPS panel

Philips has added another monitor with a 32-inch panel and 2560 x 1440 resolution to its lineup. The display comes with a high-contrast IPS panel and it's supposed to be HDR compatible. In addition the 328P6AUBREB achieves 99% of Adobe RGB colour space, which makes it is suitable for professional use.

3440 x 1440 21:9 panel

Philips has expanded its monitor lineup with an ultra-wide model, featuring a 34-inch panel with 3440 x 1440 resolution and a VA panel. According to Philips the display covers 117 percent of the Adobe RGB color space, giving this display great colour reproduction.


The BDM3275UP based on IPS-AHVA panel

Philips has introduced its newest 32-inch 4K/UHD monitor based on IPS-AHVA panel and aimed more at professionals, rather than gamers and standard users.


The BDM34670UP with 3440x1440 resolution

Philips has launched its latest 34-inch 21:9 aspect ratio monitor, the Philips BFM34670UP. Packing an AH-IPS panel with 3440x1440 resolution, the new BDM34670UP is clearly aimed at professionals which need that specific aspect ratio.


2560x1440 resolution at 60Hz

Philips has release updated its 27" monitor series, that has been quite popular lately, with the new 272P4APJKHB model.


The 275C5QHAW

Today, when biggest things on the display market are UHD/4K and greater resolutions, Philips has added a new monitor that features a 27-inch FullHD 16:9 panel with thin edges, the 275C5QHAW.


The 272G5DYEB

Philips has now announced its competitor to the G-SYNC equipped ASUS monitor, the 272G5DYEB. Based on a 27-inch screen with 144Hz, 16:9 aspect ratio and FullHD 1920x1080p resolution, the 272G5DYEB has support for NVIDIA's frequency synchronization technology, the G-SYNC.


New Cloud TV services as well

As expected considering that 4K is definitely the next big thing when it comes to TV market, Philips has announced two new 4K Smart TVs during IFA 2013, the Philips 65PFL9708 and the Philips 84PFL9708.
