EKWB issued a public apology for the low performance of its EK-Supremacy EVO Threadripper waterblock and X399 motherboard monoblocks. The company has updated the cold plate installed inside the waterblock and they are offering a discount voucher to owners of the previous version.


Fluid Gaming A240R kit compatible with Radeon RX Vega

By the end of May, EK Water Blocks announced their affordable Fluid Gaming water cooling product line. In order to offer a ready-to-use loop, EKWB sells the Fluid Gaming Series hardware in complete kits that include the pump, reservoir, fittings, water block, tubing, and liquid. The EKWB Fluid Gaming parts are significantly more affordable than the flagship parts since they're made out of aluminum. Meanwhile the company has been working on more kits, like the Fluid Gaming A240R which is compatible with Radeon RX Vega.



Available in multiple color options

If these days you want to buy a fast SSD you're going to choose an M.2 drive. Those drives are not just fast, unfortunately some of them also struggle with overheating issues. Already a few months ago, Alphacool introduced their M.2 heatsink which is supposed to help keeping the temperatures of your M.2 SSD low. Meanwhile also EK Water Blocks has come up with a heatsink for M.2 SSD, which goes by the name EK-M.2 NVMe Heatsink.



A new All-In-One

It's already been a while that EK Water Blocks unveiled their 1st generation of pre-filled water cooling products known as "Predator". Meanwhile the manufacturer unveils their 2nd generation of all-in-one water cooling products called EK-MLC Phoenix.



For Gaming and Fatal1ty series

Following the launch of Intel's X299 chipset, EKWB has released a new monoblock for fünf ASRock motherboards: the X299 OC Formula, the X299 Taichi, the X299 Killer SLI/ac, the Fatal1ty X299 Gaming K6 and the Fatal1ty X299 Professional Gaming i9. This monoblock will apparently add water cooling to both the CPU and the VRM, thanks to a huge single water block. The EK-FB ASRock X299 RGB Monoblock is compatible with ASRock's RGB LED, which will allow you to create neat looking setups thanks to customizable lighting.


Unexpected news

According to a news published on Techpowerup, EK Water Blocks have had an estrangement from the majority of their top management including their CEO of over four years. This is an important change that can affect the PC DIY water cooling market due to the strong presence of the company in this envirorment.


Filling in gaps in the lineup

It looks like EK Water Blocks is working hard again on bringing some new products to the market. A few weeks ago we have written about the newly released 140mm and 280mm CoolStream slim radiators and now there are also two new radiators in the lineup.


For Prime and ROG series

A few months after the launch of AMD's X399 chipset, EKWB has released a new monoblock for three ASUS motherboards: the ROG Zenith Extreme, the PRIME X399-A and the ROG Strix X399-E Gaming. This monoblock will apparently add water cooling to both the CPU and the VRM, thanks to a huge single water block. The EK-FB ASUS ROG ZE RGB Monoblock is compatible with ASUS's Aura RGB, which will allow you to create neat looking setups thanks to customizable lighting.


With 140 and 280 slim radiators

EK Water Blocks has put two more water cooling kits together, which they're marketing as liquid cooling kits for beginners. Following the launch of the EK-CoolStream SE 140 as well as the EK-CoolStream SE 280, the Slovenian maker of water cooling products has now two water cooling kits with slim radiators in its portfolio.

I have been looking for this desperately

There is a bunch of different ways out there to connect multiple GPUs in your high-end water cooled rig and one of them is using an EK FC Terminal. EK Water Blocks has finally reworked these blocks, which are either CNC machined from POM Acetal material or cast acrylic and they now allow for different loop configurations.


ROG Rampage VI Extreme and Apex

Following the launch of the EK-FB ASUS PRIME X299 RGB Monoblock which is compatible with several ASUS motherboards, EKWB is now ready to introduce a new waterblock which is compatible with the ROG Rampage VI Extreme and Apex motherboards. This monoblock will apparently add water cooling to both the CPU and the VRM. The EK-FB ASUS ROG R6E RGB Monoblock is compatible with ASUS's Aura feature, which will allow you to create neat looking setups thanks to customizable lighting.


For Prime and TUF series

Following the launch of Intel's X299 chipset, EKWB has released a new monoblock for four ASUS motherboards: the Prime X299-A, the Prime X299-Deluxe, the TUF X299 Mark 1 and the TUF X299 Mark 2. This monoblock will apparently add water cooling to both the CPU and the VRM, thanks to a huge single water block. The EK-FB ASUS PRIME X299 RGB Monoblock is compatible with ASUS's Aura RGB, which will allow you to create neat looking setups thanks to customizable lighting.


For Aorus Gaming series and UD4

Following the launch of Intel’s socket X299, EKWB has released a new monoblock for five Gigabyte motherboards: the X299 Aorus Gaming 3, the X299 Aorus Gaming 7, the X299 Aorus Gaming 9, the X299 Aorus Ultra Gaming and the X299 UD4. This is the first X299 monoblock available and it will apparently add water cooling to both the CPU and the VRM, thanks to a huge single water block. The EK-FB GA X299 Gaming RGB Monoblock is compatible with Gigabyte’s RGB Fusion, which will allow you to create neat looking setups thanks to customizable lighting.


Compatible with Aura Sync

Following the launch of Intel's X299 chipset, EKWB has released a new monoblock for the ASUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming motherboard. This is one of the first X299 monoblocks available and it will add water cooling to both the CPU and the VRM, thanks to a huge single water block. The EK-FB ASUS Strix X299-E RGB Monoblock is compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, which will allow you to create great looking setups thanks to customizable lighting.


Incoming already next week

EK Water Blocks has announced a new full-cover block for AMD’s Radeon RX Vega graphics cards. The block is compatible with the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition pixel accelerators. To be a bit more precise, a full-cover block has been developped fitting the Radeon RX Vega 64 and the Vega 56. As always the water block is available in different versions. According to EKWB, all the upcoming water blocks should become available next week.


No need for an additional kit

EK Water Blocks has confirmed that all of their current-generation CPU blocks will work perfectly with Intel's latest Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X LGA 2066 processors. There won’t be any need for a new mounting kit or aftermarket modifications. This is a definitely good news for everybody who already owns a custom loop in combination with an Intel X99 platform.
