It's already been a while that EK Water Blocks unveiled their 1st generation of pre-filled water cooling products known as "Predator". Meanwhile the manufacturer unveils their 2nd generation of all-in-one water cooling products called EK-MLC Phoenix.



The new EK-MLC - MLC stands for Modular Liquid Cooling - is based on pre-filled pump/radiator combos and separate cooling blocks. Those blocks are also pre-filled and equipped with quick connectors. What's really nice about MLC in general is the fact, that the customer can choose any block available in the EK webshop and order it pre-filled and equipped with quick disconnect plugs. This allows for easy installation and lowest possible maintenance.

EK Water Blocks offers three, so called, core modular units, which include pump/radiator combos, GPU water blocks and CPU water blocks. The final loop will similar to a custom loop yet much easier to assemble. The EK-MLC Phoenix CPU module is compatible with all latest CPU sockets such as Intel LGA-1150/1151/1155/1156, Intel LGA-2011(-3), Intel LGA-2066 and AMD AM4/TR4. Regarding the EK-MLC Phoenix GPU module, the company is going to update the compatibility list everyday releasing more full cover water blocks. At the moment there are several cooling modules compatible with both AMD and NVIDIA highend graphics cards.

With the EK-MLC, EK Water Blocks is going to replace the current EK-XLC Predator family. The modules are already available in the EK webshop as well as through the EK reseller network.
