K|ngp|n breaks 20K points in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme

With GTX 1080 Ti Kingpin Edition

We have covered K|ngp|n breaking world records in the past and apparently the US American Vince Lucido did it again. This time he used one GTX 1080 Ti Kingpin Edition to raise the bar in Futuremark’s Fire Strike Extreme benchmark even higher. The new world record is beyond 20K points and 600 points higher than the polish overclocker Xtreme Addict.

The system is exactly the same as last time and includes an EVGA X299 Dark motherboard, Intel's Core i9-7980XE CPU pushed to 5.7 GHz with 32GB of G.Skill DDR4 memory set at 3808MHz and CL14 timings. In the graphics department we find one GTX 1080 Ti Kingpin Edition overclocked to a whopping 2708MHz. The gap between Vince "Kingpin" Lucido and Xtreme Addict is anything but small but, since there are 600 marks in between.

We congratulate Vince "K|ngp|n" Lucido to this massive score. Already a few days ago he posted several preview scores on other 3DMark benchmarks and we expect to see more scores as well. He really is the go-to-man when it comes to breaking 3D world records and he’s proving exactly this again, with this score.
