Samsung has expanded its curved monitor lineup with a new monitor featuring a 27-inch panel and 1920 x 1080 (FullHD) resolution as well as a 1800R curvature. Furthermore the monitor comes with support for AMD FreeSync which allows for a variable refresh rate that ranges between 48 and 72Hz. Unfortunately there is no VESA mount.

Over the years the SSD market has become saturated with a many companies competing for market share. According to a report from Forward Insights it looks like Samsung and Kingston are selling by far the most units.

Following the launch of Mass Effect: Andromeda and Rock Band VR, NVIDIA releases a new driver supporting all those titles. For that purpose the GeForce 378.92 WHQL driver has been launched and it’s also supposed to address some bugs that have surfaced.

The first result of a 32 core Intel Xeon processor have surfaced and the leak comes from the Geekbench database. Although there isn’t a lot of information out there on this particular CPU, it can be assumed that the CPU tested was a Skylake-EP chip that was sitting on a Purley platform. The Geekbench result is pretty impressive, with the CPU hitting over 50'000 points in the multi-core benchmark.

During last weekend Ocaholic has held a small overclocking event Naruto80 and Rule from Italy as well as Racoon from Switzerland. While Racoon and Rule were preparing everything for a competition, Naruto80 just went for it and came up with some pretty good results.

A few weeks ago first rumors regarding the upcoming Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti AORUS Extreme Edition have surfaced. While there are still no details available on the card, at least there are some pictures now.

According to leak from CanardPC, AMD might is already working on a new high-end Ryzen CPU socket which will be compatible with 16 core and 32 thread CPUs. Furthermore this new socket and chipset will support quad-channel DDR4 memory, ramping up to become a fierce competitor for Intel's X99 platform.

Thanks to the latest leak from Benchlife, AMD's RX 500 series specifications are now online. According to Benchlife, AMD will be moving from GlobalFoundries 14nm LPE (Low Power Early) to 14nm LPP (Low Power Plus), although at this time we haven't any proof that AMMD didn't run 14nm LPP on the original Polaris chips.

According to a news from Microsoft they are blocking Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 updates if you’re running a Ryzen, Bristol Ridge or Kaby Lake based system. During the past weeks we’ve read several news about Windows 7 supporting Ryzen and Kaby Lake and this is clearly linked to Microsoft itself. The company is refusing to support these new CPUs on any OS other than Windows 10.

It looks like EVGA is going to sell a new high-end gaming notebook. The company has just launched the so called SC17 Gaming Notebook, which comes with a 17 inch, UHD screen with IPS panel. Apart from that the rest of the specs are pretty interesting as well.

Judging by a pictures out of a video which were published by the Chinese publication Chiphell, it appears that the upcoming reference versions of the AMD Radeon RX Vega cards will feature a white backplate. The video shows the backside of what’s allegedly a Radeon RX Vega reference graphics card.

Like you might already know the Z270 XPower Gaming Titanium is MSI’s latest flagship model based on Intel’s Z270 Express chipset. Today MSI adds another model to the Titanium lineup which goes by the name Z270 MPower Gaming Titanium.

A few days ago, EVGA has shown a little teaser about one of the new GTX 1080 Ti custom based on the new flagship chip - GP102 - from NVIDIA. While there are still no details available regarding the clock speeds, there is more information about the EVGA lineup in general. The new series will include the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 and the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition.

According to an accidental leak from Guru3D, AMD will release the Ryzen 5 CPU series next month. The article has been removed but still AMD will launch four different CPUs including two six-cores and two quad-cores. Using this approach AMD is planning to attack Intel's Core i5 CPU series.

Following the launch of AMD’s ReLive 17.3.1 Beta drivers there is already a new Beta update available. This release is supposed to bring performance improvements to a few games as well as optimizations for Mass Effect: Andromeda. Compared to the previous driver, this new release should give a 12% performance boost on the RX 480 graphics card in Mass Effect: Andromeda.
