Samsung unveils C27H580 FullHD gaming display

Supports Freesync

Samsung has expanded its curved monitor lineup with a new monitor featuring a 27-inch panel and 1920 x 1080 (FullHD) resolution as well as a 1800R curvature. Furthermore the monitor comes with support for AMD FreeSync which allows for a variable refresh rate that ranges between 48 and 72Hz. Unfortunately there is no VESA mount.

As we already mentioned the C27H580 monitor has been equipped with a 27-inch panel supporting 1920 x 1080 Pixels (FullHD) and it features a 1800R curvature. There is no HDMI 2.0 port, there is one DisplayPort 1.2a connector, VGA and HDMI 1.4a. In addition there are 3.5mm headphone jacks, 3.5mm audio inputs and a DC power input. The display is based on an SVA (‘Super’ Vertical Alignment) panel with a contrast ratio of 3000:1, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 4ms response time GTG. Samsung is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and for that purpose they’ve integrated AMD FreeSync support. The Samsung C27H580 is also referred to as C27H580F with various different regional suffixes.

In terms of looks the CH580 series offers a refreshed look with sleek design and a thin bezel. Compared to the previous model we find a glossy black blue color replacing the silver and white plastic elements.

So far Samsung has not revealed details on pricing and availability H580 monitor but we are sure we will know more during next weeks.
