During E3, Namco Bandai has released a trailer showing Project Cars 2 which will be available September 22 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Compared to the previous version, Slightly Mad Studios has improved various aspects, such as the dynamic weather, off-road dirt tracks and racing in the snow. Furthermore it should be compatible with VR off the bat.

Although first rumors hinted that StarCraft Remastered was to be released in March, Blizzard has finally come up with an official statement on the actual launch date. On August 14 StarCraft Remastered is going to be released and so far it can be pre-ordered for $14.99 US. The Remastered edition comes with a few new features yet the gameplay remains unchanged.

These days, the Bitcoin is experiencing another hype as currently the price for 1BTC is at a whopping $2'638 US. That means the value of one Bitcoin tripled within a very short period of time. According to a new report from Passmark, AMD supposedly made significant progress in recapturing market share from Intel during the last few months. Looking at Passmark's CPU usage graphs, which have been created from benchmarks completed using its software, we see that in Q4 2016 only 17,8% of the tests were done on AMD hardware. At the moment, 26,2% of the tests are completed with AMD platforms and Ryzen CPUs.

A few days ago the Australian overclocker "Newlife" has achieved a new world record using a G.Skill TridentZ DDR4 memory kit, which is based on Samsung 4Gb ICs. Furthermore an AMD X370 platform has been used in combination with a Ryzen 5 1400 processor.

EVGA has officially launched their GTX 1080 Ti HYBRID FTW3 graphics card. It comes with an all-in-one liquid cooling unit taking care of the GPU and active cooling for the VRMs. Although on paper this card only features a small factory overclock, it’s quite a bit quicker than NVIDIA's Founders Edition.

Back in 2014 Microsoft finalized the DirectX 12 API and NVIDIA stated that all of its current hardware is compatible with the new API. At that time NVIDIA GPUs were based on Maxwell, Kepler and Fermi architecture. While Maxwell and Kepler supported DirectX 12 after a few weeks, Fermi didn't receive any update until today. With the new 384.76 drivers, NVIDIA has finally added DirectX 12 support for Fermi GPUs.

ASUS has expanded its monitor lineup with a new model measuring 27-inch diagonally and featuring a 2560 x 1440 pixel IPS panel. Our friends over at PCPerspective have taken several pictures showing the PCB of the new Radeon Vega Frontier Edition graphics card from AMD. The pictures reveal the GPU's PCB design and several interesting new aspects with it. Apart from that they have taken a few pictures of the cooler as well.

Following the launch of AMD’s socket AM4, EKWB has released a new monoblock for three Gigabyte motherboards: the Aorus GA-AX370-Gaming K7, the Aorus GA-AX370-Gaming K5 and the Aorus GA-AX370-Gaming 5. This is the first AM4 monoblock available and it will apparently add water cooling to both the CPU and the VRM, thanks to a huge single water block. The EK-FB GA AX370 Gaming RGB Monoblock is compatible with Gigabyte’s RGB Fusion, which will allow you to create neat looking setups thanks to customizable lighting.

More than a year ago, during Computex 2016, Phanteks has first shown their upcoming water cooling products. During the past months, they’ve introduced a waterblock for NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition graphics card and today there are water blocks for the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Aorus and the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming. Both water blocks are compatible with the original backplate.
