AMD to talk about VEGA at SIGGRAPH 2017

In California

As we all know meanwhile, AMD is going to present their upcoming Vega-based graphics cards during the CAPSAICIN SIGGRAPH event on Sunday, July 30. Apart from that the company could reveal more details on Ryzen Threadripper or EPYC. Unlike previous Ryzen or EPYC related events, Capsaicin gatherings are organized by the Radeon Technologies Group.

According to a Twitter post, the company will hold its second 2017 CAPSAICIN SIGGRAPH event in California Sunday, July 30. During the last AMD Capsaicin & Cream event held in March, AMD has shown Radeon Vega and this time they could actually release or announce the final product. At the moment it's still unclear what AMD is going to show during the event. There are actually quite a few things AMD could have up its sleeve such as Ryzen Threadripper, Radeon Instinct or even Radeon Pro.

This event is going to start between 7:30 PM and ends by 8:45 PM PST. So far it’s not been disclosed whether there is going to be a live stream or not. We certainly hope to see the final AMD RX Vega graphics card launch during the Capsaicin Siggraph event and best case that would be a hard and not just a paper launch. According to latest rumors it could be possible that AMD showcases products from their partners and maybe even custom graphics cards. Apparently this has to be taken with a grain of salt since, as we said, it's rumors.
