Ryzen Threadripper is most likely going to draw quite some power and therefore generate a lot of heat, while at the same time offering serious performance. What felt like last week a rumor surfaced that AMD might bundle their Ryzen Threadripper chips with an all-in-one closed-loop cooler but unfortunately that got rejected rather quickly. Nevertheless there are still good news for owners of Asetek based AiO’s, since it appears that AMD and them have teamed-up, which is why the Ryzen Threadripper box will be shipped with retention kit.

It looks like the guys over at Nordic Hardware have received word from a retailer about the pricing of AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX Vega cards. According to them those cards are supposed to sell for 7000 SEK, which is approximately $850 US. Not included in this price is VAT, which will make those pixel accelerators even more expensive.

During E3, Turn 10 Studios has released a trailer showing Forza Motorsport 7 which is going to become available during October for Xbox One X and PC. Turn 10 Studios has improved the dynamic weather, dynamic puddles and customized player characters. ASRock has revealed the full specifications of its X399 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming motherboard. A few months ago during Computex 2017, ASRock has unveiled their first two AMD X399 motherboards which are compatible with the upcoming AMD Threadripper processors. Meanwhile it looks like the company is ready to introduce this new platform.

During Computex 2017, several manufacturers have shown their upcoming AMD X399 motherboards. Meanwhile Gigabyte is ready to present their upcoming Aorus Gaming 7 model. According to Videocardz, X399 preorders start today on Newegg, NCIX and Amazon. The motherboard might be bundled with a HyperX Cloud headset or $50 US Steam gift card.

Following the launch of Lawbreakers and the official release of ARK: Survival Evolved, NVIDIA releases a new driver supporting both these new titles. Meanwhile we’re at version 384.94 regarding NVIDIA’s WHQL drivers. Apart from game support some bugs have been addressed as well.

During Computex 2017, several manufacturers have shown their upcoming AMD X399 motheboards. MSI is a bit late to the party although Threadripper is not out yet. Unlike the Gaming Pro Carbon based on the Z270 chipset, this upcoming model belongs to the vendor’s high-end products. It packs several M.2 slots and PCIe slots.

AMD’s RX Vega GPU has been spotted in the Futuremark database, showcasing performance values, which are a little bit higher than what NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080 is capable of achieving. The graphics score value from 3DMark Fire Strike are therefore within what’s been expected. All the scores have been gathered using an Intel Core i7-5960X processor.

EVGA has finally and officially announced their GTX 1080 Ti Kingpin Edition graphics card revealing the missing details, which weren’t discussed in the countless rumours that preceded the launch. As all the other Kingpin Edition cards before, the 1080 Ti version is also aimed at overclockers and performance enthusiasts.

According to a report from DigiTimes, Gigabyte is planning to merge their graphics card and motherboard divisions into a single unit. Starting August 1st, the new department will be led by Eddie Lin, sales and marketing associate vice president of Gigabyte's Gaming Product Business Unit. The executives of each individual division will be reshuffled under Lin's leadership.

The unit was kept completely in white and therefore had pretty unique looks. Now the company unveils a new series of PSUs with this very same color option.

This time OC3D jumped the gun and they have found some leaks in the Geekbench database. Comparing the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X to the upcoming Intel Core-i9 it looks like the latter is quite a bit faster.

ViewSonic already has a vast portfolio of displays and with the XG3202-C the vendor is launching yet another full HD model. The 31.5-inch panel supports 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution at a refresh rate of 144 Hz, which makes this particular display relevant for playing fast first person shooters.
