G.Skill to host OC World Cup Finals at Computex 2014

Big names in overclocking at one place

G.Skill has announced that it will host the G.Skill OC World Cup 2014 during Computex 2014 which will put some of the biggest names in the world of overclocking at the same place.


The G.Skill OC World Cup 2014 finals come after a month-long online qualifiers held at HWBOT, which resulted with six top qualifiers which will battle for the ultimate prize of US $10,000 during Computex 2014. The list of names (or rather call signs) is quite impressive and includes "der8auer" from Germany, "8 Pack" from UK, "ZeR0_Dan" & "Hero" from China, "Xtreme Addict" from Poland and "Splave" from USA.

The G.Skill OC World Cup 2014 live event will be held from Tuesday, June 3rd, to Thursday, June 5th, with two rounds per day, finals and the award ceremony, scheduled for Friday, June 6th. The winner will take home th Championship title as well as a US $10,000 cash prize. The hardware lineup for the overclocking finals include G.Skill's TridentX memory, MSI's GTX 750 Ti Gaming VGA cards, Intel's 4th gen Core CPUs, Seasonic 1000W Platinum PSUs and much more.
