Shuttle DS437T comes to European market

Fanless barebone system, 40mm thickness

Shuttle is a company that produces barebone PCs and NAS systems, and a great number of specific accessories for this kind of systems. The latest model is the DS437T, featuring an Intel CPU.

Although it was unveiled last month, Shuttle did not share any kind of information regarding the DS437T until today. Finally, this situation has changed, after the little barebone has been listed at the VPC shop.

This little system measures 200x165x39.5mm, weighs 1.43kg and it is VESA compatible. It features an Intel Celeron 1037U CPU clocked at 1.8GHz, with an integrated graphics card (clocks between 350 and 1000MHz), and two SO-DIMM slots for DDR3 1333/1600 RAM modules on a Shuttle FS47 motherboard based on the NM70 chipset. It also features WiFi 802.11bgn provided by an add-on card with RTL8288CE chip and two antennas integrated into the chassis. The front panel features an I/O panel with two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0, an SD card reader (that also reads SDHC and SDXC cards) and the Power button. On the back we find two more USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and DVI-I outputs, an Ethernet port, audio jacks and the power cable.

This product is already available at VPC, for 228€. Of course, you must add RAM modules, some kind of storage system and an OS to make it fully functional.
