SilentiumPC unveils the Supremo M1 Platinum 700W

700W, 80PLUS Platinum, modular design and silent

SilentiumPC, a Polish company that sells power supply units, which are produced by the Chinese company High Power Technology, has announced its newest Supremo M1 Platinum 700W PSU.

SilentiumPC is not a newbie in the PSU market, but for the first time one of their products got the 80PLUS Platinum certification (non-European).

This PSU provides 700W of power and it is based on a single rail design with 58Amps and features a 135mm fan that handles cooling. This fan automatically starts spinning after the power consumption exceeds 300W, in order to ensure a silent PSU if you are not loading it too much, as it might happen for office use or with a discrete graphics card.

It also features a semi-modular design, so we have a 24-pin ATX cable and a 4+4-pin CPU cable already fixed to the PSU, and it can fit four 6+2-pin PCIe cable, 10 SATA cables and 4 Molex. The product is already available on US market for 130$, and we sure hope to see it soon in Europe as well.
