In addition to the classical motherboard series, ASUS unveiled four more motherboards, two Sabertooth The Ultimate Force (TUF), the Mark 1 and Mark 2, and two Gryphon series motherboards, one of them as an Armored Edition. These four boards are all based on the new Intel Z97 Express chipset for Haswell refresh CPUs.

The Ultimate Force's motherboards are well known for their great endurance, stability, and particular look, and these new models are just like that. The Sabertooth Z97 Mark 2 and Gryphon Z97, on the other hand, features TUF Ice and Thermal Radar 2 technologies and are assembled with military class components to ensure a great reliability on everyday use.
