LEPA has decided to roll out a couple of new power supply units including the entry-level MX-F1 series as well as the premium MaxGold G1000-MB 1000W power supply.
While its N Series of PSUs, which were a perfect choice for professional system builders with its quality components, stable operation and excellent price-performance ratio, have been LEPA's entry-level PSU lineup for quite some time, the company has announced the new MX-F1 PSU entry-level series which will upgrade the entry-level class, both visually and technically.
The new MX-F1 series has a rather better looking "racing" appearance which is definitely much better than a standard metal housing on the N series and on the technical side, LEPA managed to get entry-level to peak efficiency of 87 percent, putting it in line with new EU regulations. The new MX-F1 series is cooled by a 120mm bottom placed fan and has a 140mm depth which makes it suitable for most, if not all PC cases.
In addition to the entry-level MX-F1 series, LEPA also introduced a new member of the premium MaxGold PSU series, the 1000W G1000-MB which comes with 80PLUS Gold efficiency certification with 92 percent efficiency. Already available in 500, 600, 700 and 800W model choices, the new 1000W model will certainly appeal to those looking for a rock stable PSU. Designed with DC-to-DC circuitry and single +12V rail design, the LEPA MaxGold 1000W will pack enough punch for almost anything you throw at it and features six 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors, twelve SATA and eight Molex connectors.
The new entry-level MX-F1 series from LEPA will be available in 400, 500 and 600W versions and cost €34.90, €39.90 and €44.90, respectively. The MaxGold G1000-MB should already be available and priced at €159.90 inc. VAT.
