OnePlus had some rather great news for those who pre-ordered the OnePlus One smartphone as the company has announced that the new smartphone will start to sell ahead of the previously announced scheduled, or precisely, by the end of this month, rather than in June.
In case you missed it back when it was announced, the OnePlus One packs quite a powerful hardware for its US $299 price, which include a 5.5-inch LTPS IPS Full HD display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.5GHz, 3GB of RAM, 13-megapixel Sony Gen2 Exmore Sensor rear camera and a 5-megapixel front one for selfies. It also comes with a 3100mAh battery and runs on CyanogenMod version of the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat.
According to the announcement posted by the company on its forums, the new schedule comes as a result of customer feedback which are far more interested in the 64GB model instead of the 16GB one, which has resulted in production prioritization and earlier launch date.
It is always good when the company listens to customer feedback.
