According to a fresh report, Sony plans to push out a new update for the Playstation 4 which should allow users to save their screenshots and captured video to a USB drive and also bring support for HDMI video capture by bringing an option to disable the HDCP.
The list of features for the new update also include an improvement for Twitch streaming. The company has been talking about an option to disable the HDCP since the Playstation 4 launch back in November last year. Currently, since the Playstation 4 only uses HDMI as an output, HDCP has bee a grat problem for a lot of users since you can only capture the video using the share button on the PS4 controller which gives you an ability to share it on social media or stream it via Twitch.
According to the same report from Polygon.com, the new Playstation 4 update will also bring a new video editor which allows gamers to personalize their captured video clips. The updated Twitch streaming should bring 720p resolution as well.
