Corsair's Carbide line of cases has got a three new additions designed for those not willing or looking to spend way below US $100 for a computer case but still get enough features to have a well equipped case, the Carbide SPEC series.

Simply called the SPEC-01, SPEC-02 and the SPEC-03, all three new PC cases feature similar design and are aimed at those that simply must have a colored LED fans.

The SPEC-01 measures 467x200x413mm and weighs 4.8 kg. It feature two 5.25-inch drive bays and four modular 3.5/2.5-inch drive bays. As far as the cooling is concerned, it has enough room for two 120mm front, two 120mm top and single 120mm rear fan. The case comes with pre-installed front 120mm red LED fans.

The SPEC-02 and the SPEC-03 share the same size set at 445 x 185 x 440mm and weigh 5.7kg and 5.65kg, respectively. Both have two 5.25-inch drive bays, three 3.5-inch ones and two 2.5-inch drive bays. The cooling is done by two 140/120mm front fans, two 120mm top fans and single 120mm at the bottom and rear. The SPEC-02 comes with two red LED fans at front while SPEC-03 features two from and one rear pre-installed fans, with a choice of fan LED color from red, orange or white.

The entire SPEC series is also equipped with dust filters for the fans and come backed by a three-year warranty. According to Corsair, the new Carbide SPEC series will be available as of April with a price set at US $49.99 for the SPEC-01 and US $59.99 for both the SPEC-02 and the SPEC-03.
