As expected, AMD has now officially rolled out its Catalyst 14.3 v1.0 graphics beta driver which brings support for both Mantle API and TrueAudio for the new Thief game.
In addition to aforementioned and expected update which brought both Mantle and TrueAudio support to Thief, the new driver also brings faster loading times for Call of Duty Ghosts on Quad Crossfire systems as well as a couple of other bug fixes including audio issues when using Crossfire and Battlefield 4 V-Sync issues on Crossfire configurations.
The new Catalyst 14.3 v1.0 beta driver supports all AMD Radeon desktop graphics card since the Radeon HD 5000 as well as all mobile graphics cards since the Mobility Radeon HD 5000 and is available for Windows 7, 8 and Windows 8.1 in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors.
Unfortunately, driver has some reported issues, which should be fixed in the next version, including driver stability issues on desktop Kaveri platforms, lack of low power state on the secondary GPU in Crossfire configuration, lightning flickering issue in Thief when Crossfire is disabled, Battlefield 4 issues with Quad Crossfire configurations and flickering in Titanfall with Crossfire configurations.
