MSI will join with its own GTX Titan Black

New Titan Black pictured online

It appears that MSI will be on the Nvidia AIC partner list for the GTX Titan Black launch tomorrow as Videocardz.com managed to snag a picture showing the new MSI GTX Titan Black box and the card itself.

It appears that MSI will be sticking to reference design and we doubt that Nvidia will allow any partner to meddle with the US $999 graphics card design, even despite the fact that it could be better. The GPU will work at 889/980MHz for base/Boost clocks while 6GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface will be clocked at reference 7GHz.

The upcoming GTX Titan Black will be exactly the same as the GTX 780 Ti in terms of specifications other than the usual double-precision compute performance left for GTX Titan series graphics cards.

In any case, it will be interesting to see tomorrow which partners did Nvidia choose for the GTX Titan Black launch.
